Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal information Lucky Liner collects, why we need it to run a regulated online casino in Alberta, who we share it with and how you can control it.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to luckylinerco.slonik.store and to every account opened on it. It covers the information you give us, the information we record while you use the site, and the information we receive from third parties such as payment and verification services.
We handle personal information in line with Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), and with the requirements that apply to gambling operators in Alberta. By creating an account or using the site, you acknowledge that your information is handled as described here.
Data Controller
The organization responsible for your personal information is Ellipse Entertainment Limited, trading as Lucky Liner.
- Legal company name: Ellipse Entertainment Limited
- Privacy contact: privacy@luckylinerco.slonik.store
We have designated a person accountable for our compliance with this policy. Questions and requests reach them through the privacy address above.
Personal Information Collected
Depending on how you use Lucky Liner, we collect:
- Identity and contact details: full name, date of birth, email address, phone number, home address, city and postal code.
- Verification details: legal name, document type, the last four characters of the document number, and the results of identity, age and address checks.
- Location data: device coordinates, their reported accuracy and the time of each location check.
- Financial details: the payment method you choose, deposit and withdrawal requests, amounts, currency and statuses.
- Gaming activity: games you open, game session records and their outcomes.
- Reward activity: Liner Points balance, Daily Wheel results, check-in streak, Bonus Shop claims and their expiry dates.
- Responsible gambling settings: limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusions, with the dates they were set.
- Technical data: session identifiers, browser and device type, IP address and security logs.
- Correspondence: messages you send to support and our replies.
We do not ask for more than we need. Some information is required by law; if you do not provide it, we cannot open or keep an account for you.
Account Registration
When you register we collect your full name, email address, password, date of birth, address, city, Alberta postal code and phone number, and your confirmation that you are 18 or older and accept our terms. We use these details to create your account, confirm your age, contact you about your account and match you against your verification documents later.
Your password is stored only as a one-way hash, so nobody at Lucky Liner can read it. We check that each email address is used for one account only, which helps us enforce the one-account-per-person rule.
Identity Verification
Operators in Alberta must know who their players are. Before you can withdraw or play for real money, we verify your identity, your age and your address. This is often called KYC ("know your customer").
What we collect
- Your legal name as it appears on your ID.
- The type of document: driver's licence, passport or Alberta photo ID card.
- The last four characters of the document number, not the full number.
- Your confirmation that your residential address matches the document.
- The date you submitted the details and the outcome of each check.
How verification works
Your status starts as Unverified. When you submit your details it moves to Pending, and the age check is run against the date of birth on your account. It moves to Verified only after the identity, age and address checks are successfully completed; we never mark an account as verified without a successful check. If we need more information, for example a copy of a document or proof of address, we ask you through your account or by email.
Why we need it
We use verification data to prevent underage gambling, to stop fraud and identity theft, to meet anti-money laundering obligations, and to make sure withdrawals go to the person who owns the account. Verification checks may be performed with the help of a specialist identity verification provider acting on our behalf, under contract and only for this purpose.
Geolocation Data
You must be physically located in Alberta to access real-money casino games. To confirm that, we use the location reported by your device.
What we collect
- The latitude and longitude your browser shares after you allow location access.
- The accuracy reported by the device, in metres.
- The result (inside or outside Alberta), the method used and the time of the check.
- Your IP address, which we may use as a supporting signal but never as the only proof of location.
When and how we use it
Location is checked only when you ask for it or when you are about to start a game session; it is re-checked before each session. The comparison with the Alberta boundary happens on our server. We store the result of the latest check on your account and keep a record of checks for compliance and fraud prevention. We do not use your location for advertising and we do not track you in the background.
You can refuse or withdraw location permission in your browser settings at any time. If you do, the rest of the site still works, but real-money games stay unavailable because we cannot confirm you are in Alberta.
Financial Information
Your wallet is kept in Canadian dollars. For each deposit or withdrawal request we record a transaction ID, the date and time, the type, the amount, the currency, the payment method and the status (for example Pending, Completed or Declined).
Payment details such as card numbers or bank login credentials are entered with, and held by, the payment service you choose (Interac e-Transfer, Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit or iDebit). We do not store full card numbers on our servers. A deposit request stays Pending until the payment service confirms it, and only then is your balance credited.
We use financial information to process your requests, apply your deposit limit, check that withdrawals go to a method in your name, keep accurate records, and meet our anti-money laundering and tax-related obligations. We may be required to report certain transactions to the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) or to the regulator.
Gaming Activity
Every time you launch a game we create a game session record with a session ID, the game, its provider, the date and time, and the result or status of the launch. While real-money play is not yet open in your region, launch attempts are recorded with the status "Not started — region unavailable", so your history shows exactly what happened.
Once play is available, session records will also include stakes, outcomes and balance changes reported by the game provider. We use game history to show you your own activity, to resolve disputes, to apply loss and session limits and reality checks, to spot patterns that may suggest gambling harm, and to meet the reporting rules set by the regulator. You can see your game history in My Account.
Reward Activity
The rewards programme keeps its own ledger. For each entry we record a reward ID, the reward name, the source (Daily Wheel, Daily Rewards or Bonus Shop), the date, the status (for example Credited, Claimed, Completed or Expired) and, where relevant, the expiry date.
- Daily Wheel: the time of your last spin, which controls when the next spin opens 24 hours later, and the result drawn on our server.
- Daily Rewards: your current streak day and the date of your last check-in, in Alberta time.
- Bonus Shop: items claimed, Liner Points spent and when each reward expires.
We use this information to run the programme, to stop duplicate or abusive claims, to answer questions about your points and to make sure rewards are only offered to eligible players. Your reward history is visible in your account.
Device Information
When you visit luckylinerco.slonik.store our servers receive technical information that every browser sends: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, screen size, language settings and the pages you request, with timestamps.
We use it to keep you signed in securely, to protect forms against automated abuse, to detect suspicious logins or multiple accounts, and to fix problems with the site. Security logs are kept for a limited time and are accessible only to staff who need them.
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies: ll_session keeps you logged in and protects forms, age_ok remembers that you confirmed you are 18 or older, and cookie_consent stores your cookie choice. Optional cookies are only set if you agree to them.
The full list, with retention periods and how to change your choice, is in our Cookie Policy.
Analytics
At the moment we do not run third-party analytics on luckylinerco.slonik.store. If we add an analytics service to understand how pages are used, it will load only after you accept analytics cookies, it will be listed in the Cookie Policy, and we will configure it to minimise the data collected, for example by shortening IP addresses.
We may produce internal statistics from our own records, such as how many accounts completed verification. Those figures are aggregated and do not identify you.
Marketing
We send marketing messages, such as news about promotions or new games, only if you have agreed to receive them, in line with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can withdraw consent at any time by writing to support@luckylinerco.slonik.store.
We never send marketing to accounts that are self-excluded or on a time-out, or to anyone we have reason to believe is under 18. Service messages, such as password resets, verification updates and transaction notices, are not marketing and are sent whether or not you subscribe.
Third-Party Services
Some parts of the service are provided by other companies acting on our behalf:
- Game providers (Games Global, Relax Gaming, Blueprint Gaming, Big Time Gaming, NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Playtech and Stakelogic) receive a session identifier and the information needed to run a game, not your full profile.
- Payment services process deposits and withdrawals and receive the details needed for each transaction.
- Identity verification and geolocation services may be used to confirm who and where you are.
- Hosting and email providers store data and deliver service messages.
Each provider is bound by a contract that limits its use of your information to the service it provides to us and requires appropriate security safeguards.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only when needed:
- with the service providers described above;
- with Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis (AGLC) and Alberta iGaming Corporation (AiGC), when required for licensing, audits, responsible gambling programmes or self-exclusion;
- with FINTRAC, law enforcement or courts, when the law requires it;
- with fraud prevention bodies or payment networks, to investigate fraud or chargebacks;
- with a buyer or successor if the business is sold or restructured, subject to this policy.
International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers may store or process information outside Alberta or outside Canada. When that happens, your information is subject to the laws of that country and may be accessible to its authorities.
We only work with providers that offer a level of protection comparable to Canadian standards, and we use contracts to require that. You can ask us for more information about where your data is processed by writing to privacy@luckylinerco.slonik.store.
Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy or as long as the law requires. In practice:
- account, verification, transaction and game records are kept for the period required by gambling and anti-money laundering rules after your account is closed;
- self-exclusion records are kept for at least the length of the exclusion and as required by the regulator, so that the exclusion can be enforced;
- support messages are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request and handle any follow-up;
- security logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.
When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous.
User Rights
You have the right to:
- ask what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete (you can update most profile details yourself in My Account);
- withdraw consent to marketing or optional cookies at any time;
- ask us to close your account and delete information we are not required to keep;
- complain to the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Send requests to privacy@luckylinerco.slonik.store. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act, and we respond within the time limits set by law.
Data Security
We protect your information with technical and organisational measures that fit its sensitivity: HTTPS encryption for all traffic, hashed passwords, protection against cross-site request forgery, single-use password reset links that expire after one hour, access limited to staff who need it, and regular review of our security practices.
No system is completely secure, so please do your part too: use a unique password, do not share your login, and log out on shared devices. If we become aware of a breach that creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the relevant privacy commissioner as the law requires.
Contact Information
For questions about this policy or to make a privacy request, contact our privacy team at privacy@luckylinerco.slonik.store. For anything else, our support team is at support@luckylinerco.slonik.store or on the Contact Us page.

Policy Updates
We may update this policy when our services, our providers or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
If a change materially affects how we use your information, we will tell you by email or with a notice in your account before it takes effect, and ask for your consent again where the law requires it.
