Frequently Asked Questions
Straight answers about accounts, verification, games, rewards, banking and staying in control on Lucky Liner. If your question is not here, our support team is happy to help.
Registration
4 questionsOpen the registration form and enter your full name, email address, date of birth, home address with an Alberta postal code, phone number and a password. Tick the box to confirm you are 18 or older and accept our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. Your account opens straight away, and you can then complete identity verification and the location check in My Account. The How It Works page walks through every step.
You must be at least 18 years old to register and play on Lucky Liner. You confirm your age at the age gate on your first visit, the registration form checks your date of birth, and we verify your age against your ID before any withdrawal or real-money play. Accounts found to belong to anyone under 18 are closed.
Adults aged 18 and over who meet the eligibility rules in our Terms and Conditions can register. To play for real money you must also be physically located in Alberta, pass identity verification and not be self-excluded. Employees of Ellipse Entertainment Limited and of the game providers involved in running the games cannot hold player accounts.
No. Each person may have one Lucky Liner account, and each email address can be registered only once. Duplicate accounts are closed, and rewards or Liner Points collected on them are cancelled. If you have lost access to your account, use the password reset on the login page or contact support rather than opening a new one.
Alberta Eligibility
3 questionsNo. You must be physically located in Alberta to access real-money casino games, even if you live in the province. You can still sign in, check your account and contact support while you travel, but game sessions will not start until a location check confirms you are back inside Alberta.
When you run the location check, your browser asks permission to share your device location. Our server compares those coordinates with the Alberta boundary and records the result on your account. An IP address alone is never treated as proof, and the check is repeated before each game session. Using a VPN or location-spoofing tool is not permitted.
What matters for play is where you are physically located at the time, not just where you live. You need a valid Alberta address and postal code to register, and you must be in Alberta whenever you play. Full details are in the Eligibility and Geographic Restrictions sections of our Terms and Conditions.
Verification
3 questionsRegulated operators in Alberta must confirm who their players are. Verification keeps under-18s out, stops people from using someone else's identity or payment details, and is part of our anti-money laundering obligations. It also protects you, because withdrawals can only go to the verified owner of the account.
You can verify with a valid driver's licence, passport or Alberta photo ID card. In the Verification tab of My Account you enter your legal name, choose the document type, give the last four characters of the document number and confirm that your address matches it. If we need more, such as a copy of the document or proof of address, we will ask you directly.
As soon as you submit your details, your status changes from Unverified to Pending. How long the review takes depends on whether the identity, age and address checks can be completed from the details provided or whether we need extra documents. Your status in My Account changes to Verified only once every check has passed, and you will see it there as soon as it does.
Casino Games
5 questionsThe casino lobby lists 69 games from Games Global, Relax Gaming, Blueprint Gaming, Big Time Gaming, NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, Evolution, Playtech and Stakelogic. You will find classic, video, bonus-feature, Megaways and jackpot slots, table games including blackjack, roulette, baccarat, casino hold'em and craps, and a few instant games. Real-money play is not open yet: signed-in players who press Play see a message that the game is currently unavailable in their region.
Each spin's result is decided by the game's random number generator at the moment you spin, and it is independent of every spin before it. Wins depend on which symbols land on the paylines or "ways" listed in the paytable, and features such as free spins or multipliers are triggered by specific symbol combinations. Every slot has a built-in house edge, so over time players should expect to lose more than they win; you can read each game's rules and paytable inside the game.
Jackpot slots carry an extra prize on top of the normal paytable, usually won through a special feature or symbol combination. In our lobby they come from linked families such as Gold Blitz, Amazing Link, Link & Win, Cashpots and Jingle Jackpots. We do not show jackpot amounts on the site, because the values are held inside each provider's game; check the game itself for current prize information.
No. The games are not offered in a free-play or practice version. Games run only for signed-in accounts that are verified, eligible and confirmed to be in Alberta, and real-money play is not open yet. You can still browse the full lobby, read game details and filter by provider or category without an account.
Yes. Lucky Liner runs in the browser on phones and tablets, with no app to download. The layout adapts to smaller screens, the bottom navigation gives quick access to Casino, Rewards, Promotions and your Account, and the location check uses your phone's own location services.
Casino Rewards
6 questionsThe Bonus Shop is where you spend Liner Points on rewards such as free spins vouchers, casino rewards, loyalty upgrades and special offers. Each item shows its cost in points, eligibility, conditions, expiry date and a status of Available, Claimed, Expired or Unavailable. You can claim an Available item if you have enough points; the points are deducted when you claim.
Rewards run on Liner Points, our loyalty points. You collect them from the Daily Wheel and the daily check-in, and through some promotions, then exchange them in the Bonus Shop. Liner Points have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, and every point you earn or spend is listed in your reward history in My Account.
The Daily Wheel gives signed-in players aged 18 and over one free spin every 24 hours. The result is drawn on our server, not in your browser, and can be Liner Points, a Bonus Shop voucher or no reward that day. After you spin, the wheel shows when your next spin opens, and every result is recorded in your reward history.
The daily check-in adds Liner Points once per calendar day, Alberta time. Checking in on consecutive days moves you along a seven-day streak, with the biggest points drop on day seven, after which the streak starts again. If you miss a day, your next check-in starts back at day one.
The eligibility and conditions for each reward are printed on its card in the Bonus Shop and shown again before you claim it. Promotion terms are on each card on the Promotions page. The general rules for the Bonus Shop, Daily Wheel, Daily Rewards and bonus conditions are in sections 13 to 17 of our Terms and Conditions.
Yes. Every Bonus Shop item has an expiry date on its card, and claimed rewards must be used before the date shown in your reward history. A Bonus Shop voucher won on the Daily Wheel is valid for 14 days. Expired rewards cannot be restored and the points spent on them are not refunded.
Banking
5 questionsDeposits can be requested with Interac e-Transfer, Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit and iDebit. Withdrawals are available to Interac e-Transfer and iDebit. All transactions are in Canadian dollars, and you may only use payment methods in your own name.
In your wallet, choose a payment method, enter a whole-dollar amount and submit. The request is recorded straight away with a transaction ID and the status Pending, and your balance is credited only once the payment is confirmed. If you have a deposit limit, a request that would exceed it is refused and you will see how much you can still deposit in the current period.
Withdrawals open once your identity is verified. Enter an amount up to your available balance; it is set aside from your balance and the request appears as Pending in your transaction history while it is reviewed. Withdrawals are paid to Interac e-Transfer or iDebit in your name and are not available during a time-out or self-exclusion.
Any fee depends on the payment method and is shown at checkout before you confirm a deposit or withdrawal. Your bank or payment provider may also apply its own charges, so check their terms if you are unsure. Nothing is deducted without being shown to you first.
Processing time depends on the payment method and on whether further verification or security checks are needed, and it is shown at checkout for each method. You can follow every request in your transaction history, where its status changes from Pending once it has been processed. If a request seems stuck, contact support with its transaction ID.
Promotions
3 questionsYes, current promotions are listed on the Promotions page with their description, eligibility, terms and end date. Most reward you with Liner Points or extra Bonus Shop items rather than cash, and some need you to opt in from your account. Promotions are open only to verified players physically in Alberta and are not offered during a time-out or self-exclusion.
Bonus conditions are the rules attached to a reward or promotion: which games it applies to, how long it lasts, who can claim it and any requirement before winnings can be withdrawn. They are shown on the reward or promotion card and again before you accept. If the conditions do not suit you, simply do not claim the reward; the general rules are in our Terms and Conditions.
A wagering requirement is the amount you must bet before winnings from a bonus can be withdrawn, often expressed as a multiple of the bonus. If a reward or promotion on Lucky Liner carries a wagering requirement, it is stated in that offer's conditions before you accept it. Liner Points themselves have no wagering requirement because they cannot be withdrawn at all.
Account Security
2 questionsUse a strong password that you do not use anywhere else, never share your login details, and log out when you use a shared device. We will never ask for your password by email or phone. If you notice activity you do not recognise in your transaction, game or reward history, change your password in My Account and contact support straight away.
On the login page, choose the forgotten password option and enter your email address. If an account exists for that address, we email a reset link that works once and expires after one hour. If you are already signed in, you can change your password in the Security tab of My Account by entering your current password and the new one.
Responsible Gambling
3 questionsOpen the Responsible Gambling tab in My Account to set a daily, weekly or monthly deposit limit, a loss limit, a session limit and a reality-check reminder. Lowering a limit takes effect immediately. Raising or removing one waits out a 7-day cooling-off period, and your current limit stays in force until then.
Choose a time-out of 24 hours, 7 days or 30 days in My Account and confirm it. While it runs, deposits, withdrawals, rewards and games are paused, and it cannot be shortened once it starts. Your account and balance stay safe and everything reopens automatically when the period ends.
You can self-exclude from Lucky Liner for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years in My Account, or ask our support team to do it for you. Self-exclusion starts at once and cannot be cancelled early. To exclude yourself from gambling more widely in Alberta, see the AGLC Self-Exclusion Program and other support services on our Responsible Gambling page.
